This is the Twitch emote I was commissioned to do for a friend of mine's twitch channel.
My friend started to stream on Twitch more frequently and it was about time for his Affiliate emote since he became one fairly quickly. After some ideas were being thrown around about what it could be, it came down to it being a rage emote.
I put out some examples but I couldn't fully encapsulate the cartoon-ish style that he deserved of having. That is until his younger sister drew up that concept on the right side. She did it free-hand and is exactly what my friend wanted.
She couldn't make it digital unfortunately, which is where I come in.
Thanks to another project I've been a part of, my experience in Illustrator pays off for making this idea come to life. Due to Illustrator's vector nature, I can scale this up to however I want and be able to retain it's quality whenever I have to scale it back down in Photoshop to fit the requirements that Twitch needs for their emotes. This gave me a lot of experience working with shapes in Illustrator and have the vision to break down what makes up images in general to make it easier to recreate to me.
